The Agent: Write about the difference between red and green.
Me: The colors? Honey, I doubt that any of my readers would be interested in that.
The Agent: They would be interested if you wrote it correctly.
Me: And how would you make the difference between red and green interesting?
The Agent: Red was feeling blue because she was jealous of Green. Green had parents, and Red didn't understand why she didn't have parents.
Me: Parents?
The Agent: Sure. Green's parents are Yellow and Blue.
Me: Gotcha.
The Agent: But it's going to get dramatic, because Red has such a need to feel love that she'll get busy with Green's father, Blue.

Me: You have issues.
The Agent: Oh my goodness, what is she going to tell Green when little Purple comes along?
Me: Maybe you should start writing my blog posts.

ok... that is definitely a conversation I could see going on in my house. FUNNY!!!!
I have had a similar conversation about primary and secondary colors in my house as well! Laughter is what keeps the family strong - I swear by it! Found you on SITS.
